Conditions of Use
The terms for using the Cartographers' Guild.
Last revised 31 October 2026
1. These conditions
These conditions apply to your use of thecartographersguild.com ("the site"), run by the Cartographers' Guild ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What the site is
The site publishes independent reviews and opinions about games that can be played in a web browser. We do not sell games, accounts or in-game items, and we do not offer gambling, betting or prize games of any kind.
3. Age
The site is written for adults and older teenagers. Some games we review have age ratings or minimum ages; please follow them. Children under 13 must not send us personal information.
4. Opinions, not promises
Reviews and survey marks are our honest opinions at the time of writing. Games, prices and features change, so always check the official site before you play or pay.
5. Our content
Text, map-key symbols, elevation profiles and illustrations on the site belong to us unless stated otherwise. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the games reviewed. You may quote short extracts with a link to the source page.
6. Links to other sites
We link to official game sites and to support services. We are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Our links are not affiliate links.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, try to break its security, or send spam or abusive letters through the Post Room.
8. Liability
The site is provided free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these conditions excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update these conditions. The revision date at the top shows the current version.
10. Governing law
These conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
