Krunker

A blocky first-person shooter that loads in seconds and moves at a sprint. Surprisingly skilful, with a busy shop.

Each peak is one measure from the Map Key. The higher the ground, the better it scored.

The terrain

Pick a class, from rifle to shotgun to crossbow, and drop into a short match on a low-poly map. Movement is the hidden depth: slide-hopping and jumping chain into very fast play. Community maps and modes add plenty of variety.

A typical walk

Rounds are only a few minutes long and you can leave any time. Ranked play exists for the competitive. Public lobbies can be chaotic and chat is best kept muted.

Tolls and fair trade

Free to play, paid for by ads between rounds and an in-game currency for cosmetics. Some cosmetics come from random-reward spins, which work much like gambling. Skip them, and switch off purchases for younger players. Purchases do not change weapon power.

Good going

  • Plays in seconds, no install
  • Deep movement skill
  • Huge range of community maps

Rough going

  • Random-reward spins in the shop
  • Ads between rounds
  • Rough public chat

Surveyor's note

For players who want quick, sharp shooting without a download. Watch the shop and the spins.
